Power play?Subban Fan 09-30-2003, 09:55 AM Who's gonna quarterback the power play this year??? Stuy 09-30-2003, 10:12 AM What Power Play?????????????????????????????????????????????? ? :dunno: JayzinSmith 09-30-2003, 10:33 AM It'll probably be something like this ...Daze | Arnason | SullivanZhamnov | DempseyCalder | Ruutu | Radulov/BellBabchuk/Quint | McCarthyIf Babchuk makes the team, then Quint will probably be waived. Too bad Savard and Sutter's powerplay strategies include having Dempsey ring the puck along the glass every time they get set up, and using Karpovtsev and Klemm more often on the points than McCarthy. _Del_ 10-01-2003, 12:49 AM What Power Play?????????????????????????????????????????????? ? :dunno: *crossing fingers* Babchuk steps it up.... I know better than to hope for such things as a Hawks fan.... Subban Fan 10-03-2003, 06:34 AM Nathan Dempsey??? Slowe 10-03-2003, 07:37 AM So far it has been Zhamnov and Karpotsev playing the points on the number one unit. Dempsey's on the second. See above comments of despair. SuperUnknown 10-04-2003, 07:40 AM Why isn't Quint used on the PP? I thought he was a decent PP dman. Ted Borg 10-06-2003, 04:50 AM Why isn't Quint used on the PP? I thought he was a decent PP dman. Maybe in the AHL Patch2 10-06-2003, 08:08 AM Why isn't Quint used on the PP? I thought he was a decent PP dman. I was at the game in Rochester last Thursday, and the Hawks has Dempsey and Quint together on the PP. They looked alright but never had a good chance to work the puck around. The whole PP rarely set up control in the Sabers' end, so it was hard to determine if they can gel. Also, Ruutu looked good that night, I hope he can continue that way all year. strib 10-07-2003, 04:13 PM Maybe this is McCarthys' year. | ||
