Can anyone tell me how he's doing at camp? i haven't been hearing much at all. I did hear that fedotenko is slated to start on a line with st. louis and richards, so does that mean he will be starting the season with stillman and lecavalier? or is there someone else.........

Somervuori has re-assigned to Hamilton of the AHL. Reports were that he looked pretty good early in camp during drills and scrimmages. Kinda disappeared during the first few exhibition games he played.
He was being auditioned so-to-speak for the RW spot on the one of the top two lines to play with Lecavalier and Stillman. Lots of competition in camp for that spot, and he didn't do anythings particular to distinguish himself to win the spot outright. He's not really setup to play on one of the lower checking lines, so he'll probably get some top line time in the AHL, get use to the NA game/rink size, and position himself to be one of the first call-ups should we have an injury or need a fresh face.
He'll play in the NHL at some point in the not-to-distant future.
Shane Willis has emerged as the early favorite to get the spot with Stillman and Lecavalier. There is still four more exhibition games left, so the position is still far from a lock.
While Fedotenko has gotten a long look at the LW spot next to Richards and St. Louis, I think it is premature to believe he is locked into that position. Lot of it has to with whether Willis grabs the RW spot with Lecavalier. If he can't (and Aleexev and Somervuori can't either), then Fedotenko will get it by default and Modin will play with Richards and St. Louis. Afanasenko is a longshot for the LW spot with Richards/STL, but again that is a very longshot.
I do believe Torts is hoping he can find a two scoring line combinations that don't include Modin, but some guys are really going to have to step up. Having Modin available as a third line checker would really make the Bolts a dangerous team. Some have speculated something like:
Stillman-Lecavalier-Willis
Fedotenko-Richards-St. Louis
Modin-Taylor-Roy/Clymer
That would allow the Bolts to roll three lines that score. Cup contenders need to have three lines that can score, and last season we were lucky to have two lines that could score.

that third line looks horrible. Any scoring line anchored in the middle by Taylor or Roy. Giving Modin anything less that 15 minutes a game is wasting away talent IMHO

I know this will probably bring up a ton of debate (as the last 3 spots on a team usually do) but who do you all figure will be the 4th line?

No place for Andreychuk on the first 3 lines. 20 goals again last year wasn't it? (I know many were on the PP)

15 of those goals came on the power play though.

Not sure what I was thinking. A third scoring line would probably be anchored by Svitov or Perrin.
