I couldn't help but laugh at the article involving Cullimore in the Tribune today. I don't have a specific link, but it was painfully obvious that the columnist had no idea what he was talking about. Jason Cullimore "is a great two way defenseman". Can someone supply a link so we can disect this idiot?

Yeah, I don't recall having ever read Andy Staples work before. That's a somewhat glaring boo-boo although I like the rest of the article though. Nice little fluff piece. I'm not a fan of the genre myself.

I guess its just tough finding good people to write at these Godless right-wing corporate media giants these days.

No, but I know a former editor who loved to write fluff pieces quite a lot.

Something I need to explain to you Hawkeye, and I'll choose the HF boards to give you a lecture because Sotnos won't go cruel/fascist on me the second the ploop hits the fan like on other boards.

Your feeble attempts to pile on, you've really got to cut that out of your diet.

I'm talking about the times when you post "I'll bet you won't go to any games in Atlanta." when I've already said 3 times in the span of a 24 hour period I'm not in Atlanta. You're right Hawkeye, it IS probably a safe bet I won't go to any games in Atlanta this season, what with it being 420 miles away.

I'm talking about when you say "Just because Modin was killing penalties with St. Louis doesn't mean MRS was back together." after EVERYONE on that thread had conceded that MRS WAS back together for the second half of the game and Modin was back with Richards for the first shift of OT. And yes, I did know Modin had killed penalties with St. Louis for the last three years, which explains the whole part about explaining to Freadrich/Roy33 that part of Modin's value in his all around game also comes from his penalty killing ability the day before.

I'm talking about when you quote an article and say "Nanny nanny boo boo" AFTER I've already adressed it the night before.

You see, its not that you disagree with me or pile on. I don't mind that Hawkeye, I'm a big boy and I can take that. Its the fact you're usually one or two days behind the curve which means I either have to waste 10-15 minutes of my life precious trying to get you up to speed, or I just have to pat you on the head, call you a lovable scamp, and send you on your way. And I'm not the only one who has been rubbed the wrong way by this Hawkeye, because people who are normally never angry have e-mailed me telling me they never hated anyone so much in their life as you... not because you disagreed with them, but because you disagreed with them in such a completely unrelentingly slow-witted way.

So from now on, Hawkeye, I'm not going to slow down the rest of the class by stopping to catch you up anymore. I'll just call you a "lovable scamp" and keep on going, because its not fair to everyone else to have their bandwidth wasted by a 4-5 post exchange trying to get you up to speed on yesterday's news. From now on: try and keep up on your own, ummmm kaaaaaay?

::Pat on the head::

Now there's a good lovable scamp. Back to work.
