Get this, based off of NHL.com stats, Loyns won all 4 faceoffs he took against Forsberg...and Primeau has lost all 6 he's taken....this after D.Wilson mentioned he is a good faceoff guy? Now granted its only one period thus far, but I don't believe his faceoff stats were that good last year either...was always a bit skeptical about that comment.

Primeau's very streaky on faceoffs. One night he'll win 17 of 20 and the next night he'll lose 17 of 20. He has the ability to be a great faceoff man if he concentrates on it. He's 50% overall for his career. He doesn't lose too many draws cleanly where it results in a scoring chance which I consider more important than won/loss %. Chris Gratton has a 56% career faceoff winning percentage, but when he loses the draw in his own end, it often results in a great scoring chance. In a close game, I'd much rather have Primeau taking the draws than Gratton.
