Now granted its only one period thus far, but I don't believe his faceoff stats were that good last year either...was always a bit skeptical about that comment. One night he'll win 17 of 20 and the next night he'll lose 17 of 20. He has the ability to be a great faceoff man if he concentrates on it. He's 50% overall for his career. He doesn't lose too many draws cleanly where it results in a scoring chance which I consider more important than won/loss %. Chris Gratton has a 56% career faceoff winning percentage, but when he loses the draw in his own end, it often results in a great scoring chance. In a close game, I'd much rather have Primeau taking the draws than Gratton. | ||
