With the Worlds starting tomorrow, we thought it'd be a good time to get our chat room moving again.

The link for the java chat is at the top of the boards, in the red band. For those with a separate irc client, the information is:

Server: irc.vBulletin-Fans.com
Port: 6667
Channel name: #HockeysFuture

For those who have used the chat room in the past, please note this is a new server.

If you join and no one's in there, please give it a few minutes, people tend to come and go throughout the day, and some times are just slow.

All users are expected to use their HF usernames and not make a nuisance of themselves or we'll toss you! :D

We hope to be doing more with the chat room in the future, so be sure and check it out.

If you have any questions or problems, post them here and we'll try to help.

hmm.. i don't really get this, how can i add new server or something like that? :(

can you guys put that channel to ircnet?

Go to Options --> Servers --> add Server
Type "irc.vBulletin-Fans.com" into the IRC Server bar, Port 6667

click ok and then 'connect to server'.

Then go to Favourites --> add --> type "#HockeysFuture" --> join

I'm surprised that we had 3 in there for this morning's game, and no after-game rush. There's plenty of room for more. :)
