After the Calgary Hitmen were eliminated Wednesday, Getzlaf was contacted by the Anaheim Mighty Ducks and asked to report to their farm club in Cincinnati.

Which means Getzlaf skates in his first American Hockey League game tonight -- a playoff tilt against the Milwaukee Admirals.

The Ducks already gave Getzlaf the big bucks. Time for him to go to work. :)
