I wonder what this series would be like if we actually had some 5 on 5 hockey.

remember back in the day when the NHL actually had playoff hockey...each team got about 3 or 4 powerplays a game if that...and it was still fun to watch...why do we need each team having 10 powerplays?

Sweet! The next game is tomorrow in Mil. Once he was eliminated I thought if he were to join the team it would be for game 4 on monday.

The Ducks need this game in OT. Going away for games 3 and 4 down 2-0 could be trouble.

Congrats on the win guys. Sounded like one helluva game. Wish I could have made the trek up to Cincy for it, but work comes first. Unfortunately the Senior Partner's priorities just don't sync up with mine.

What role do you expect Getzlaf to play? Will they work him in, or will they throw him in to a major role because he might have fresh legs (I'm not sure about this though do to the travelling)?

I expect Getzlaf to get pretty minor role in the first (3rd) game because he hasn't had many practices with the team and gradually getting more icetime IF his perfomrances meet expectations.

Then again, Shaw could put him straight to 1st line with Lupul, I have feeling those two could click very well.
