ALBANY, N.Y. -- Dean McAmmond's pro career has taken him far and wide across North America, two of his stops coming in Calgary and Edmonton.

Now the 31-year-old from Grande Cache, AB is making his latest stop in the New York state capital city of Albany, where he has spent the season with the Albany River Rats helping to groom the New Jersey Devils' stash of AHL prospects.

Somewhat. They are always moving around (dunno if thats always a good thing), get into a lot of fights, hitting, etc. The article is correct in assuming in that they arent at all like NJ.

New Jersey is more than two hours south...
