Ryan Murphy

I know we've talked a little bit about this kid, but his +/- is nothing short of AMAZING playing on this year's Rats team. Any chance that he can come up and be a Pando-type player? I've never seen him play, but what is the general concensus about him? I'd appreciate any and all information. Thanks.

Actually this is the second time someone has compared him to Pando, looks like we got ourselves a little gem here, nothing great mind you, but someone who looks like would be a good fit on one our 3rd or 4th lines down the road.

I really like my murph. My only fear is that he might become one of those guys who move from team-to-team in the AHL. He's already a bit older and I hope the Devs sign him.

Good comparison, think hes got a tad more offensive ability than pando though.

I loved what I saw of him too when he came to Norfolk. On the pk he was agressive, but composed enough to "rag" the puck easily. He's bigger than pando (for what thats worth) & he scored the lone goal for the game aside from the empty netter. Then again, I was impressed with Foster too, he being fragile aside.
