I went to the game & it was fun. Rats look so much better than when I last saw them. Gionta does bring a lot ot the table, and Hale was great. I cant wait to go again tomorrow night.

was albany's goalie really that good last night or did the ads take a lot of perimeter shots and outside, weak shots. they usually take a lot of shots and just looking at the stats is sometimes deceiving. they have a tendancy to take a lot of low quality shots. thanks for any info

vadvlfan could probably answer this better than I, but from what I gathered from listening to the game, Clemmensen was simply fantastic.

Good crowd on hand tonight, but Admirals didnt give them much to cheer aboot. Robbie mixed up the lines initially, then reverted back to what worked Fri night.
Admirals were without 2 of their better d-men again (Vandemeer/Barinka). Hale hardly played in the 1 st period. Mike Brown was dressed & I think Robbie kept him off the ice when he was on. DeMarchi is the only D-man that worries me. Great skater, but when the crap hits the fan & pressure is on, he falls down. Ahonen gace up no rebounds. Admiral only had like 8 shgots on goal for 1st 2 periods. Foster's line was used a lot with faceoff in our d-zone. Khomotov played well on 4th line, but he didnt play a shift in the 3rd. Parise/MacCammond played point on pp. Gionta/MacCammond fw's on pk. Murph's goal was like the Elias/Sykora goal in a 1st game of the '00 playoffs Pascal behind the net, instead of curling to go out front, he backhanded a pass weak side for the gimme.
I wish I was going to see them again tonight. MacCammond was (both nights) the most dominant player on the ice on both teams. Maybe some of his confidence wore off. THats the way they played! Their passing (regroups) were great. Ahonen was good, but the Rats didnt give them much but perimeter shots, and we cleared the crease pretty well. I'm rambling. I'll shut up for now.

Victories in 9 of their last 10......mighty impressive, even if they aren't in the playoff picture anymore.........this strong finish to the season could lead to a strong start next year.......

It won't........futility is the name of the game, and the Rats play it phenomenally

 I like the way you phrased that. You know what, every year, I don't even care that the Rats never make the playoffs, look at NY's farm team, they always make the playoffs, but the Rangers never do, I'd MUCH rather be the guy with the NHL team that makes the playoffs than the AHL team, winning or losing doesn't really define a teams farm system, not to me anyways.
