D pairings

Anyone have any thoughts on Sundays D pairings? I saw them as:

Spacek-Richardson
Sydor-Wescott
Guskov-Rohloff

Im wondering, if they know that they want to split Spacek and Richardson up and pair one or the other with Sydor, why not do it here? I mean Sydor is most likely never going to play with Duvie ever again so what did they learn? Didnt they just waste a game situation where they could have gotten one of those pairs that much more chemistry? Same for Guskov and Wescott. They could potentially be matched up on the 3rd pair. Why not get them used to each other in a game situation?

Any ideas? :dunno:

I think they just wanted to see if Spacek and Richardson wil be as good this year as they were last year. Remember, were 20 days away from the Regular Season so much can change.

Not sure.
I did like seeing Sydor and Spacek on the same PP line, although I think they'll probably split them up during the regular season.

Also, what did you guys (and girls) think of JLGP on right wing? Is this going to work out? Outside of some good hits, I wasn't sure what to think.

It's preseason. Players get paired differently.

By contrast, here are tonight's defensive pairings:

Spacek - Richardson
Sydor - Klesla
Lachance - Wescott

Look a little better? As we face 3 games in 3 nights, we may not see them all together again for a while. Enjoy.
