Phil Laugher 03-23-2005, 08:13 PM The offensive juggernaut Remparts will send solid Victoriaville netminder Josh Tordjman plenty of rubber... will he be able to turn enough away? Will rookie Quebec goaltender Maxime Joyal be able to show up in the big game?
Schedule:
Game 1: 03/25: @Que
Game 2: 03/26: @Que
Game 3: 03/28: @Vic
Game 4: 03/30: @Vic
*Game 5: 04/01: @Que
*Game 6: 04/03: @Vic
*Game 7: 04/05: @Que
Head to Head:
11/05/04: Victoriaville 4, Quebec 7
12/30/04: Victoriaville 2, Quebec 2 (OT)
02/11/05: Quebec 1, Victoriaville 1 (OT)
Season Series: 1-0-2, Que
Notes:
- Tordjman will have to steal a game or two, and Laplante will have to own the faceoff circle for Victo to have a shot
- Quebec has plenty of firepower to go around, so getting chances should not be a problem. Untested Joyal and inconsistent Boutin may make the Quebec net situation interesting.
montreal 03-25-2005, 10:42 PM Wow Quebec with a bad start to this series. Victoriaville with a big win 6-3.
What I have to say:
We want Joyal right now!! :banghead:
We want good referees who just have EYES to see what's going on!
We want a big wake up from the players!
Tonight, Hennessy ate the puck, Boutin was so-so, the referees didn't call very evident penalty and I'm really frustrated! :madfire: I wish that tomorrow will be a better day for the Remparts. Watch out!

Sorry bud but your team almost had twice as many pts as victo...you dont need the refs to help you win. Your team is filled with a bunch of cocky overconfident players and they took Victo too lightly.

I agree with you, it's not the referee's fault but they were very bad like I never saw it, I don't know if you were there but if yes you probably saw it. But I agree with you in the sense that we can't put all the fault on the referee, it's a team defeat. The players didn't play like they were suposed to. Maybe they took Victo too lightly but I wish they will wake up tonight.

1 thing is for sure...QUE should come out flying tonight. They got embrassed on home ice. I am expecting a Quebec blow out.
gamerman44 03-26-2005, 03:08 PM Lets go Victo

I've read on rds.ca that they really had 0 shot in the first period.

That's true, I couldn't be there but I called my friend who was there and she told me that. Very cool! The Remparts won 5 to 1, goals of ALexander Radulov (2), Marc-Édouard Vlasic, Simon Courcelles and Mathieu Melanson. The serie is equal 1 to 1 and a good job from Maxime Joyal! She also told me that the game was very exciting! Good job! :handclap:
FREE DENTAL CARE 03-30-2005, 02:14 PM Remparts go 0-12 in game 3 on power play. How pathetic. What's up? Will they change things for game 4?

Hopefully not!!! :)
Zednik 03-31-2005, 12:45 AM Damnit, the Remparts lost again tonight. They totally dominate but Tordjman is way better than our 2 crappy goalies
FREE DENTAL CARE 03-31-2005, 02:07 AM Remparts get 65 shots and make Tordjman look like a Vezina candidate. No passing to get him moving and lots of (the 65) shots into his stomach area. The Remparts better wake up and play as a team or they'll be having an early banquet. (Oh yea, we know, Hennessy is hurt.) Only interesting things about this game (from a Remparts perspective) were: (1) Coughlin's hit on Lizon (all 6'5" of him into the penalty box) and, (2) Jenner's two-hander to the head of LaVallee behind the play in OT (no call).
Oh yea, did anybody see what happened to the Victoriaville flag before the game? How close were you watching?
:help: Do you still think that the Remparts can win this round?

I still think we can with the series. If we look at the number of shots at the last game, we totally dominated but Tordjman stopped almost everything. Next game, if our goalie (probably Joyal) plays better than in our 2 mediocre games and our players keep shooting on goal like they did in the last game we are going to win the game and the series because even if he's good, I doubt Tordjman will have 2 or 3 exceptionals games in a row. Well, maybe I'm too optimistic :dunno: .
goaltending seems to have been a bit of the problem so far in the series.
Maybe Roy should have gone after David Tremblay at the trade deadline like many thought he should. ;)

I think you are right, and yesterday we win 5 to 2 and I'm really optimistic right now. The serie is dominated by Victo 3 to 2 but I still think that we can win both of the next games. I go to Victoriaville tomorrow :handclap: and I think it will be a very good game.
*You can never be too optimistic!!
:yo: Go ReMpS gO!! :jump:
VICTORY!! I'm showing the good news to everybody!! 5 to 3, the serie is egal 3-3. Next: Tuesday and that's the last and definitive game. Goals from: Alexander Radulov, Mathieu Melanson, Andrew Andricopoulos (first star!!), Guillaume Veilleux and Kevin Coughlin (third star!!)! Very cool, I went to Victoriaville and the arena was full, big ambiance! I'm just looking foward to tuesday and I think Quebec will win this one and send the Tigers in vacation!
:jump: Go ReMpS gO! You are the best! :yo:
Zednik 04-03-2005, 11:31 PM I'll be at the Colisée mardi :yo: Go Remparts !
Phil Laugher 04-04-2005, 01:22 PM A very surprising comeback thus far. I'll admit that, with them being down 3-1, I'd expected the Remps to fold, but maybe they've got a little more cohesiveness and character than I gave them credit for originally.
Still one more to go, though.
tiredman 04-04-2005, 04:57 PM Nickerson is suspended for the next game

Go remparts Go :handclap:
Yeah, everything is on our side. Nickerson suspended and it's at the Pepsi colise. I will be there too and I expect to have no voice after, :D
:handclap: GO REMPS GO! :handclap:
