American Rempart Fan

Hello, I'm new to the board. Have been following the Remparts and the League in general for a couple of years now. Live in NJ (big Rangers & Hartford Wolfpack fan). Hoping Quebec will do well in the playoffs - wish I could get some coverage down here. Would be happy to receive E-Mails from anyone out there. Je parle un peu de Francais aussi.

How is Andrew Androcoplus playing? I have noticed that he has not been in the lineup the last couple of days, is he hurt? How about Joey Ryan?

Quebec could go farther if their dressing room wasnt divided.

They should beat Victo but i think they are out in rd 2.

Andro had a so/so year. Slow start, played better down the stretch but according to some friends I have in Quebec City Andro took a step back this year. He doesnt like the physical stuff.

Ryan on the other hand has progressed nicely and has some serious pro potential. Fights, hits and has started to chip in with some offense.

How is there locker room divided? USA vs Cananda vs. Russia? Andro has never been a physical player, so that does not surprise me. Joey Ryan would fight Mike Tyson if given the shot.....

Not in that sense. Cant really say on here but the players causing problems have been notorious for this sort of thing.

It isnt USA vs. Canada. Remps are practically all USA anyway.

Remparts problems come from NO team leadership and selfishness. The captaIn plays for himself ONLY. Lately he has looked like he wants to lose so he can go to Cleveland (AHL) if they manage to squeek into the playoffs. Maybe he knows something the team doesn't about this. Or maybe, he just want to go back to Boston and drink beer and womanize. (Something(s) he's really adept at.)

In spite of this issue the Remparts have some real "gamers" -- guys like LaVallee, Courcelles, and Joyal. The team will be better off without the "captaIn" next year.

It seems as though Andy has taken a big drop in all the latest draft rankings. What has been his problem? When he went up their he was pegged as a possible first rounder now he has fallen below the rankings of many of the players his age that are still playing NE Prep hockey. He had so much skill growing up but he was never much for physical play. Ryan was just the opposite, not a whole lot of skill but tough as nails!

Andro is afriad to be hit. That can be a problem for a defensemen.
