Hey guys , I drafted him in the final (like in the 20th) rounds in my FHL.Has he NHL potential? Will he be able to become a solid third liner. As you can see , Kenopka is second in points on his team (behind Lupul) , that's great.
For thos who saw him play , PLEASE make me a report.
Thx in advance.

Konopka will do anything it takes to win and anything it takes to make it to the NHL.
He is an agitator with underrated passing skills. He centers Cincy's top line of Joffrey Lupul and Stan Chistov.
He has everything it takes to become a good 3rd line center in the NHL and he may be able to fill in as a second liner when the need arises.

Zenon is probably the most versatile player in Cincy's roster, he can practically do anything. He can score goals, he can produce offensively, he can agitate, he can fight, he can defend etc.
Zenon is one of those few players who can play any role from 2nd to 4th line and not look completely out of place.

Yeah, and if it turns out he's got NHL level skill, he probably could play on the 2nd line with two offensively talented players, as the guy who does the dirty work. If not, he'll still likely be an asset on a checking line.
Konopka-Pahlsson-? as a pesky checking line? If we could get a heavyweight with a bit more skill than Burnett, it'd be a perfect 4th line.
Now, if only we had enough talent to make Leclerc-Rucchin-Niedermayer our 3rd line instead of the 2nd, then we'd really be in business. Ah well, a guy can dream.

put Chistov there...he has been playing more of the body lately...and he and Konopka have been linemates for a bit as well so they already have that pesky thing called chemistry thats seems to be needed for a line to produce

Ok I know Chistov has been fiesty & fighting but he's not an enforcer... :)
Seriously, we desperately need more toughness from all lines so we can't compromise the most physical line by using players like Pahlsson and Chistov there.

hey i was just trying to fill in the blank with someone who actually can skate a whole game...
and you never know Chistov has fought a few times this season and no body seems to be sticking up for the little guy :joker:

4th line gets max 10 mins per game and Chistov doesn't bring any of the stuff required from 4th line players...
If Chistov doesn't develop into a top 6 forward he shouldn't be on the roster at all. We didn't pick him 5th overall to get a checker.

That would be a good 3rd line line but replace Pahlson with Leclerc
