I don't think they've played more than one game, Wisconsin lost 6-2 and Gilbert had a goal and assist, so he was in on both scoring opportunities. So far he's been an excellent pickup. He could be another mid-round steal for the Avs ala JM Liles. He is about as offensively gifted, but has much better size. I don't think being a #4-#6 defenseman is out of reach. I've only seen him play a few times, so my evaluation is somewhat limited. Keep an eye on the Avs prospect thread, I'll be updating it every weekend for information on the Avs collegiate prospects.
