Take your pick.
The best of these defenceman?monster_bertuzzi 09-20-2003, 05:32 PM Take your pick. easton122 09-20-2003, 05:50 PM It has to be Kaberle or Ohlund because those guys are actually #1 defensemen when the others uh... aren't. Indrid Cold 09-20-2003, 06:02 PM Eric Brewer. :yo: Don'tcry4mejanhrdina 09-20-2003, 06:02 PM Ohlund. Xx Shadow xX 09-20-2003, 06:09 PM Mattias Ohlund. Mack 09-20-2003, 07:04 PM dam they are all very good. cept Kenny he's slipping a bit. but i pick Mattias Norstrom FlyersGuy69 09-20-2003, 07:06 PM Mattias Ohlund then I would go with Brewer. Robert Paulson* 09-20-2003, 07:31 PM Ohlund gets my vote DynamoAO 09-20-2003, 07:37 PM Brewer. Koltsov71 09-20-2003, 07:38 PM Mattias Norstrom. Jamie 09-20-2003, 07:38 PM I picked Brewer but was tough choice between him and Ohlund. I think both could step up a fair bit this year as well. Hossa 09-20-2003, 07:53 PM For me, it came down to Norstrom, Ohlund and Kaberle. I ended up taking Norstrom, but its really a three-horse race. They're completely different blueliners, so its very hard to judge. Kaberle's all offence, Ohlund has good offence, good defence and a physical edge, and Norstrom is a classic, nasty, stay at home defenceman, who is a true leader. Three different players. Brewer in my opinion isn't at the level. I consider myself an Oilers fan (although not before my Sens of course), but I don't think Brewer's a #1 d-man yet. Honestly, I think the guy's a bit over-rated. nucks2001 09-20-2003, 09:06 PM Ohlund Spiffy 09-20-2003, 11:05 PM Good enough for the best olympic team ever. Has to be Eric Brewer. Ensane 09-21-2003, 12:21 AM Ohlund. He's the best all around of those given. GorgeousFrankenstein 09-21-2003, 03:55 AM Kaberle Legionnaire 09-21-2003, 07:36 AM I'll take D full of Norstroms anyday over a D full of any of those guys. canucksfan 09-21-2003, 08:36 AM Brewer, he's still very young. Vincent Vega 09-21-2003, 10:06 AM Eric Brewer. flamesfan12 09-21-2003, 10:28 AM Tomas Kaberle. monkey_00* 09-21-2003, 10:30 AM This one here is a close call but I ended up going with the under rated Kaberle windowlicker 09-22-2003, 06:40 PM the Brew Winston Wolf 09-23-2003, 02:13 PM Brewer monster_bertuzzi 09-23-2003, 02:37 PM I never knew how overrated Brewer was..until I saw the results of this poll. Dr.Strangelove91 09-23-2003, 06:12 PM I gave my vote to Kaberle, but Norstrom and Ohlund are very very close to him. At this point, it's pretty much the one you prefer. Damn me, I chose a Leafs defensemen! LaVal 09-24-2003, 04:28 AM Kaberle for me MOOSE55 09-24-2003, 06:35 AM I like Norstrom Hossa 09-24-2003, 07:05 AM He played for Team Canada at the 2002 olympics at the age of 22 and you think he's overrated ? Canuck fans these days ! I agree with him though, and the Oilers are my second favourite team. Brewer in my opinion is not a #1 defenceman right now. Didn't Steve Staios get the nod as either MVP or Best defenceman (or both) from the Oilers last year, and not Brewer. The guy's a good defenceman, but he's not at #1 blueliner, not yet at least. Just because he made Team Canada doesn't mean everything. You'd have a tough time convincing me Brewer is a better player than Wade Redden right now. monster_bertuzzi 09-24-2003, 09:08 AM I agree with him though, and the Oilers are my second favourite team. There were far better defenceman than Brewer that got left off the 2002 team. easton122 09-24-2003, 10:19 AM I never knew how overrated Brewer was..until I saw the results of this poll. I agree Brewer isn't close to becoming a #1 defensemen yet when Ohlund can be (even though he is trapped behind Jovo) and Kaberle is the Leafs defense. I voted for Kaberle orginally in this pole because I think he is very good at defense (underrated) and also is an offensive force when Ohlund is just as good at D, a little behind Kaberle on offense, but he also has a good physical side. When I first saw this pole I though it had to be Kaberle or Ohlund but for some odd reason Brewer won. weissfan9 09-25-2003, 01:30 AM Brewer | ||
