I'd say Liles but that is only b/c I am really not up to date on Ballard.

Liles for offensive upside. Ballard as a tougher harder defenseman to play against.

I respectfully disagree - after watching them for the past 2 years, I would take Liles at both ends. He never gets beat, and does anyone remember him knocking Reinprecht out cold 4 years ago at the College Hockey Showcase? Reinprecht's sr. year and Liles was a freshman at MSU. Pretty impressive hit, according to those who saw it....

Ballard nor any other college hockey player can maintain their amature status and college eligability if they go to pro camps I believe. So Ballard wasn't at camp, nor were any other college prospects ala Collins, Steeves, Gilbert etc... Finger left college early, that's why he was at camp.

right on the money. you won't see any NCAA players in camps unless they leave school early.
