After the year he had, what else was there to prove in the OHL? I think it's a good idea for him to get his career started now and a year in Houston will do some good to see where he is against professionals.

I wonder how this will affect Locke.

I guess we'll see whether it was a case of Locke making his linemates look good, or the other way around. It's his chance to prove everyone who thinks he's overrated (me included) wrong.

Not good for Locke. He lost Shepherd and now Foy. Any ideas on who his new permanent linemates might be?

They've played one game, Locke had a goal. I think Locke'll do just fine personally. He won't light up the league as much without his linemates, but I think he's got such natural ability and competitiveness that he can do it with new linemates.

Locke has played 2 games, so far 4 pts. 2-2-4

I saw Locke hammer the Majors yesterday , his linemates were Bauman and Albiani. Doesn't look like he's going to be affected by his loss of linemates...

I bet Bryan Bickell will become his Matt Foy replacement very soon. Bickell is big, fast, talented with good hands, and he has a mean streak. He's also 2004 draft eligible.
