Assists for Fata and Kostopoulos. 1-0 Pittsburgh! :handclap: Koltsov71 09-19-2003, 02:23 PM Go Koltsov! :) Sounds like Caron is playing extremely well. Koltsov71 09-19-2003, 02:24 PM Yikes, that shot broke Caron's mask! Don'tcry4mejanhrdina 09-19-2003, 02:32 PM I hope Koltsov can continue to impress management. I would love to have his speed on the pens this year. AEKaki 09-19-2003, 02:34 PM Discuss the game here...I'm listening to the webcast on Pensnet.com in case anyone is looking for it. Currently about halfway through the 2nd, no score. where did you click i can't get it open I so hate listening it from the net. I prefer Fox Sports Pittsburgh... But noooo, they don't have it on. Koltsov71 09-19-2003, 02:35 PM I hope Koltsov can continue to impress management. I would love to have his speed on the pens this year. Same here.. I think he's done pretty much everything right up to this point. He sounds like he's a few steps ahead of Kraft, Sivek, etc. The Islanders scored on the powerplay, tied 1-1 after two periods. I didn't catch who got the goal or assist(s). EDIT - Jason Blake on the powerplay from Janne Niinimaa and Dave Scatchard. Koltsov71 09-19-2003, 02:37 PM where did you click I didn't know they had it on pensnet... I'm listening to it on the offical website. link (http://www.pittsburghpenguins.com/schedule/game/index.php?id=100) I had to download Windows Media Player to listen to it.. I missed part of the first period. john g 09-19-2003, 02:38 PM Feeeeed me (taken from the bad bad movie Little Shop of Horrors) Seriously keep feeding 'Net saps like me with info :) jhopspensfan 09-19-2003, 02:39 PM Bissonette is playing very steadily. Koltsov71 09-19-2003, 02:56 PM Justin Papineau gets the goal, assisted by Shawn Bates. 3:26 into the 3rd period. Islanders lead 2-1. AEKaki 09-19-2003, 03:01 PM Justin Papineau gets the goal, assisted by Shawn Bates. 3:26 into the 3rd period. Islanders lead 2-1. crap, here we go. Is Fleury in? Or will he start at Mellon Arena tomorrow better? Koltsov71 09-19-2003, 03:03 PM Caron is playing tonight. Fleury will be starting tomorrow night. Koltsov71 09-19-2003, 03:06 PM On the penalty kill for the Penguins... DiPietro made an awesome diving save on Fata. Sounded like a great chance, but DiPietro robbed him. AEKaki 09-19-2003, 03:14 PM How's Sivek, Orpik playing? I know Beech and Kraft aren't. Who can you tell is playing good? Koltsov71 09-19-2003, 03:18 PM Asham scores for the Islanders, assisted by Bergenheim and Mapletoft. 3-1. Koltsov71 09-19-2003, 03:19 PM Trent Hunter gets the empty-netter (I think). Don'tcry4mejanhrdina 09-19-2003, 03:25 PM Hopefully the pens will mop the floor with them tomorrow night. Robert Paulson* 09-19-2003, 03:29 PM A well played game, I hope they do better tomorrow. Johannes Climacus 09-19-2003, 03:50 PM The individual players are really what matters right now. My three Pens stars in order from the game: 1. Konstantin Koltsov - Sounded smarter offensively, made good defensive plays, and drew some penalties 2. Colby Armstrong - All around good play. Continues to impress and surprise me. 3. Paul Bissionette - I still don't know if they will sign him and play him this year, but he played very steadily tonight. Johannes Climacus 09-19-2003, 03:51 PM Also, Rico Fata is a close four on that list. He played well too. | ||
