Ad Ribbon for away goal?

I know that Colorado has this new technology for advertising. Around the club level, they have a long, thin LED screen. This screen displays ads during the game. Whenever the home team scores, they display a neat combination of red revolving lights and a blue background with GOAL! moving in and out. However, most teams leave theirs add panels alone when the away team scores. But I saw the ad panels turn Red when Minnesota scored a goal in the playoffs. Am I seeing things? If I'm wrong, what does it display?

Not sure how you're taking this. And I can't recall specifically ... so I'm not here to confirm it. But, you do see the relation between using red and having a goal scored, correct?

Aparently, this red is used only on away team goals. I'm not sure either.

What I was getting at was the fact that red is the color of the light that goes on in the goal judge's booth.

Like I said, I don't know where you were going with this. If you think it was meant disrespectful by the Avs, I don't think that's what they are doing.
