The Prince George Cougars and Kamloops Blazers are in a Kamloops courtroom today hoping that their Russian imports will be cleared to play tonight in their respective season openers.
Stanislav Bolshakov (Kazan) of the Prince George Cougars and Roman Tesleouk (CSKA) of the Kamloops Blazers have been claimed by their club teams to be signed to play in Russia this season.
If the issue is not settled today, then both the Cougars and Blazers will have to wait for next Thursday for another day in court.

Both Tesleouk and Bolshakov were not made available tonight. I believe next Thursday is the next day in court for the Blazers and Cougars. Therefore, obviously, both players will not be available for tomorrow's games.
Whether or not Tesleouk and Bolshakov are signed to contracts in Russia or not is still an issue to be settled. The part about this that bothers me the most, is that Kazan (Bolshakov's team) and CSKA (Tesleouk's team) waited until now to file the injunction with the IIHF. Obviously they knew that they were going to take action as soon as the players were drafted back in June. They could have easily filed the action then so PG and Kamloops could have had time to adjust their rosters shall it be found that Tesleouk and Bolshakov are ineligible for the CHL. Instead, the ****** had to do it now, and disrupt the start of the season for the Cougars and Blazers.

The BC Supreme Court has granted an injunction to the Prince George Cougars and the Kamloops Blazers. Stanislav Bolshakov (PG) and Roman Tesleouk (KAM) will be in the lineup for their respective team's next game.

Have they settled on a spelling for Tesleouk yet? I"m seeing "Tesleouk" in news stories and "Tesliuk" in game summaries.

CROCK (or whatever he wants to call himself) should know. I would imagine that he has seen the kid's namebar.
