Ive been using Soulseek then all of a sudden it locks up and has to close.

I reopen and it wont connect.

I uninstall and reinstall, still wont connnect.

I restart my computer, still wont connect.

Kmad tells me the servers are still up, its like its not recognising my connection.

I have a router and the XP firewall but the firewall has SS as an exception, and I really cant be arsed configuring my router for it, it worked fine before why does it not work now? Last time I tried to configure my router for Shareaza it made it worse and disabled the browser to boot.

Help?

Do you have the new client (155)? If not, you can find it on their hp.

I can't recall which port exactly, but you will probably have to forward the port Soulseek uses for sharing. Someone can correct me, but I think it's 4192?

Try uninstalling SP2 for Windows XP if you installed it. It causes way more problems than it fixes.

Instead of using XP's firewall, you should buy something like McAfee's Personal Firewall. It works better, and it'll cause you less grief.
