Centers were Phil Goyette, Orland Kurtenbach, Earl Ingarfield, Jean Ratelle.
LW's were Don Marshall, Vic Hadfield, Reggie Fleming
RW's were Bob Nevin, Rod Gilbert, Bernie Geoffrion, Billy Hicke
D's were Wayne Hillman, Arnie Brown, Harry Howell, Jim Neilson, Al MacNeil.
G's were Ed Giacomin and Cesare Maniago.

They dressed 2 g's, 5D and 11F, so that was probably close to opening night. Hicke didn't play much (I met him many years later when he owned the Pats, very nice man) and was sent out, and Schinkel played towards the end of the season (and impressed). They were certainly both RW's.

Berenson was a center, he was kind of a wanderer until the following season when he was traded to St. Louis and caught fire. With those guys ahead of him, its little wonder he didn't play.

Ratelle was hurt that year, and I think Gilbert was still having back troubles. I would swear the big line was Goyette-Marshall-Gilbert but the HN I have from March 4 haas Nevin on the RW. Nevin played well into the 70s and was a terrific player.

Rod Seiling and Bob PLager were Dmen, Seiling had a pretty long career and Plager played almost a full season with the Rangers the year before this (or so).

Doug Robinson was a LW, the Kings drafted him, Mickey was a RW I think, and Jim Johnson was certainly a center.

Orland Kurtenbach was huge, one of the great fighters, Reggie Fleming was pretty filthy and lasted awhile (played in the WHA I think) and the GAG line is here but not established yet. Ratelle and Gilbert are getting their injuries in order and Hadfield wasn't scoring like he would in just a few seasons.
