Regina SK ---- Today the Regina Pats made one trade prior to the 1:00PM trade deadline.

The Pats traded seventeen-year-old defenceman Tanner Stockwell to the Tri-City Americans in exchange for seventeen-year-old defenceman Isaac Smeltzer, & a conditional 2005 bantam draft choice.

Smeltzer, a 6'2", 185lb product of Estevan spent last season with the Tisdale Trojans of the SMAAAHL scoring one goal and nine assists with sixty penalty minutes in thirty-five games. Smeltzer broke his leg in training camp with the Americans this fall, and has yet to play this season.

General Manager Brent Parker & Curtis Hunt will be available for comment outside of the Pats Dressing Room at 2:00PM.

The Pats now have two goaltenders, nine defencemen & fourteen forwards on their active roster.
