Accord 01-09-2005, 08:14 PM I'd love to be able to play hockey games and other sports games on my computer, but the only thing is that every year when a new game comes out I end up buying it for the PS2 just because I love the controller so much. The shape of the PS2 controller, button setup, etc. is second to none and I just can't get used to any of the controllers made for the PC.
Does a controller exist for the PC where it is the same shape and setup as a PS2 controller, just for the PC? If so, which company makes it?
I have seen some controllers for the PC shaped just like PS2 controllers, but they don't have the two analog sticks.
Thanks
banana phone 01-09-2005, 08:18 PM Logitech Dual Action...its what I use, just like PS2. Or get a converter, so you can plug PS2 controllers into a USB port....

What games do you play with it? Was reading a few reviews and saw multiple complaints of losing calibration (a problem I'm having now with my Gravis Eliminator Pro) on the right analog stick. This is not a problem I want to have again, since it's the reason I'm in the market for a new pad in the first place. 95% of my gameplay is Madden; none of that RPG/FPS stuff.

Logitech Rumblepad, Dual Analog...shaped exactly like a PS controller, plus it's comfy...has a cord, but I don't care, alot lighter than the one I had with batteries
sveiglar 01-26-2005, 09:37 AM Got the Dual Action after all.. pretty pleased after a week. We'll see how it holds up after six months.

When it goes bad: exit the game, unplug the usb cable, wait a few seconds, re-plug it, restart the game, and voila!

I was doing that, but it didn't work consistently. You could hear the windows sound that you hear when you plug/unplug a USB device even over the gameplay, and sometimes it would cycle on and off three or four times in a few seconds. Unplugging/replugging/resetting the game was no more effective than jiggling the controller cable (not kidding).
