looks like a great time...enjoy yourself.

I had to laugh at the fact that the NAHL has an official rock band, though.

Hey do you guys know if the All-Star Game will be broadcast over the internet? I imagine it would be broadcast on the Tornados website but I could be wrong.

Also, best of luck to all the players especially the Phantom players at the All-Star Game. :)

Two outstanding American-born hockey players and members of the “Miracle on Ice“ U.S. Olympic Hockey team -- Neal Broten and Ken Morrow -- have accepted invitations from the North American Hockey League to serve as honorary captains for the NAHL’s All-Star Game on February 8, in Frisco, Texas.

This game was one of the best games I have ever seen.
The Tornado lost 3-1 to the All-Stars. This was no ordinary game, both teams played to win and it showed. Tornado out shot the All-Stars 38-22.

The first goal came in the First period, on and incredible one timer from a one touch pass. Kyle Laughlin (son of NHL Greg Laughlin) took a one touch pass from Pat Lee to beat Ben Bishop on a rockeet of a one timer.
Andrew Strickler made some incredible saves for the All-Stars, getting 9 saves in the 1st period.

The story in the 2nd period was the play of All-Star goalie Jason Kearney, stopping all 15 shots he faced, including some of the most incredible saves, when he was beaten. Kearney was the games MVP. The All-Stars scored thier 2nd goal, shorthanded when Brandon Marino stole the puck and made a great move to beat Bishop.

The Tornado came out strong in the 3rd, just hammering away at Riley Gill. Gill made 13 saves, but gave up a goal on a barrage of shots and saves to keep the puck in the attacking zone. Billy Skwarczewski knocked in a rebound to beat Gill.
later in the 3rd the All-Stars scored when Bryan Plaszcz cleared the puck from his own corner to an open Dain Prewitt and he took the breakaway and beat Bishop again on a great move.

For those that thought this format was a waste, they were wrong. This was an incredible game.
