How do they manage to make a game that is slower than half-life 2. Half-life 2 runs just fine on my geforce 2, 700 MHZ duron computer at even medium settings. However, when I run nhl 2005, at 640x400, everything extremely low, the frame rate is about 1 frame per minute and you only see the jerseys floating around. Now, how do you manage to make a game that is limited to a tiny area like a rink with 12 players on it run one hundredth of the speed of half-life 2. Beats me. Easports development team should be shot.

Bad scalability I guess. Well, EA Sports is known to be anything but customer-friendly so again nothing new on that front.

And for the shooting, the development crew was fired some months ago. :handclap:

It's as if they are using java to program their game and have never heard of directx or opengl.

Don't worry about not being able to play NHL 2005, EaSports hasn't put out a good hockey game since 98.

Get the newest available drivers for your graphics card, I had the same problem.

Maybe you should get an upgrade or an xbox. 700 mhz and a geforce 2 was 5 years back.
