Is the pci express slot backwards compatible for agp video cards?

no, There might be a special part that will allow you to put a agp video card into a pci slot but I don't know if something like that exists

I found this FAQ I looked over it fast but I didn't see anything dealing with the question if you want to look at it here it is

I am gonna say it is not compatible with agp. I think it would say if it was compatible with agp
