DynamoAO 12-24-2004, 07:52 AM I think the outfield spots should NOT be generic. If you don't draft center fielders and have 3 corner IFs, you SHOULD be penalized.
Well....I dont. ;)

If there's a vote or anything in the end, though, I think people would take that into account when they judge. So even if someone chooses three corner guys, I don't think it will go unnoticed in the end.
On the same vein, I think some corner guys, like Ichiro, could adapt very well to center field.

actually, Ichiro is a natural center fielder and is better there. The reason he plays right is because Cameron was there and Cameron was a good centerfielder but probably wouldn't be as good in right. Same thing with Winn. The 2001 all-star game saw 3 corner guys go in the al. Gonzalez, Ramirez and Ichiro. Ichiro played centerfield.
Fish on The Sand 12-25-2004, 11:08 PM Ichiro played RF in Japan when he was with the Orix Bluewave.
Tani (a perennial allstar in Japan) played LF, and So Taguchi of the Cardinals used to play center.
I remember hearing Ichiro was a natural center fielder

PPZ's Phillies might need a gm soon so if your interested just stay in touch with me or DynamoAO.
DynamoAO 01-05-2005, 11:58 PM Girls have yabos.
Fish on The Sand 01-06-2005, 12:08 AM NO!
You realize PPZ is the ONLY GM that's giving this Fantasy MLB Draft on an INTERNET MESSAGE BOARD, possibly one of the NERDIEST THINGS ON THE GOD DAMN THE PLANET, the moticum of legitimacy it does not deserve? IMO, this is nerdier than a Star Trek convention. There is NOTHING nerdier than somethign that is "fantasy", "on the internet", and "statistically dependant." I know this sounds sexist, but having a girl has a NEGATING EFFECT all of these things.
So what if you have to wait for her. Big deal. FOTS it's clear that you date less than I do (which belongs in the Guiness book of Records really), because even I know that you have to WAIT for girls to do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING.
well we kicked in the hall out for less, and if something is constantly slowing the draft down, others will lose interest and stop showing up, and the draft will be dead. I really want to keep this going, and if replacing her is what is needed I say do it.
DynamoAO 01-06-2005, 12:11 AM We acctually didnt kick in the hall for less. In the hall was online and posting when he could/should have been picking. PPZ just isnt active.
DynamoAO 01-06-2005, 12:17 AM Yea, alot of the reason I havent pulled the plug on her yet, was it was her idea for the draft. It does buy some slack, but it's not an neverending supply...
Fish on The Sand 01-06-2005, 12:43 AM Yeah, but that guy was anal-retentive about it
you sure you date more than me?
