Do you see them as having a strong team, this year?

Questions:

1) Who will be the go-to guys? Nilsson, Soderberg, Eriksson, Salomansson, Fransson?

2) Could someone post the projected lines?

Thanks!

Projected lines:

Chris Heino-Lindbergh (MON) (David Rautio)

Nicklas Grossman (DAL) - Ola Svanberg
Oscar Hedman (WAS) - Johan Fransson (DAL)
Anton Strålman - Per Savilahti Nagander
Elias Granath

Linus Videll (COL) - Carl Söderberg (STL) - David Fredriksson (STL)
Nicklas Bergfors - Robert Nilsson (NYI) - Kalle Olsson (EDM)
Loui Eriksson (DAL) - Linus Persson - Daniel Åhsberg
Johannes Salomonsson (PIT) - Mattias Hellström - Björn Svensson
Sebastian Karlsson

It's one of the strongest swedish teams in several years, but to get a medal would be a great accomplishment. Will be interesting to see what Nicklas Bergfors, 2005 eligeble, will be able to do offensively, as he at the moment is ranked top ten for the 2005 draft.

Eriksson on the 3rd line? Interesting... I thought that he would've been on the top line.

Is Heino-Lindbergh the #1 and is he the goalie who got most of the icetime at last month's U20 tournament in Sweden?

I'm hoping to see your team pull an upset, get a medal ;)

As always, the swedish mindset is to have 3 or 4 scoring formations (when possible), not two scoring lines and two checking lines.

Linus Persson and Mattias Hellström seems to have swapped lines. Hellström has played with Åhsberg and Olsson the last two games.

Wrong, Eriksson, Åhsberg and Hellström, they played 4-0 against Belarus

I like how all of those weapons are spread out on the forward lines. Good team. Good, underrated goalie too but I bet some people here will say he's no good because he's not all that hyped.

Heino-Lindbergh is a starter for Hammarby in allsvenskan(league below SEL) - a good team. I have no idea how long it was since we had a goalie who had that kind of experience in our junior-national team. Allsvenskan is very good. Better than QMJHL and WHL(at least thats what Björn Kinding says - who has lived in Canada a dozens of years).

By the way. I think Persson is playing powerplay with Eriksson and Åhsberg- otherwise Hellström is centering that line.

Can't wait to see Eriksson. He was lights out last year.

Noone was really talking about Montoya going into the WCJ last year. A good showing or bad showing will either increase the hype of shoot it down.

I think the line with bergafors and nilsson involved will be one of the premier at this wjc.
