Anyone out there have a list of NHL teams' representation at the WJC. Which organization has the most draft picks playing at this year's tourney? Which has the least? etc. Thanks in advance.

as of now the Leafs have 1 but maybe 2 depending on Jan Steber, if he makes the Czech team.

The Flyers have six unless I'm forgetting someone. Carter, Richards, Ruzicka, Beauchemin, Scurko and Romy.

Fraser was a Flyers pick but is now Blackhaws property.

Better question is, which WJC has the most NHLers?

Bolf too.

So that's 6. If I'm not mistaken, they had 6 last year too (not including Malkin and other not-yet draftees).

The Islanders only have three, but all are playing key roles on their teams.

Colliton is on Canada's top line.

Nokelainen is on Finland's top line.

Nillson was Sweden's top scorer last year.

Habs have Yemelin (RUS), Heino-Lindberg (SWE) and Kostitsyn (BEL). I'm pretty sure the Flyers lead the pack with five or six.

Plus Halak (SVK).

Hawks have 3 on Team Canada, one being a Flyers pick already mentioned (Fraser), plus Barker and Seabrook (if he is cleared)...

I knew I forgot someone :banghead: Not only that, bur Halak did a fine enough job last year. Just wish we could see him on a decent team.

For Chicago, add to the trio of Fraser, Seabrook, and Barker the likes of Porter and Dowell (USA), and Sindel and Hromas (CZE).

Can't think of any others, but 7 is VERY impressive.

Sorry! Wrong Porter! Went checking blackhawkzone.com and saw an update for the US WJC team, and they said Porter went scoreless. Of course, Chris Porter was playing for the University of North Dakota! :dunce:

Ovechkin and Yunkov playing for Russia
Hedman playing for Sweden
Bourque playing for the US

I think Guggisberg was slated to play for the Swiss team, but can't due to injury.

For the first time in a while, no Finn is there that is Stars property.

Looks like it. This article (http://www.hokej.cz/?lng=CZ&webid=259&id=23787&menu=menu_1_0&view=clanek) has a listing of the room sharing assignments (why they have this and no updated roster anywhere is beyond me), and Polak isn't there.

FLA just has 4. Olesz, Stewart, Tuma and Lojek, but all three Czechs are underrated. Lojek is the #2 Dman I believe and Tuma is almost better than Lojek.
