Daisy 12-19-2004, 02:16 PM During the pregame show, Bob Crawford said that Fotiu is running the bench because McGill's daughter is sick and he stayed in Hartford to be with his family. She's doing better now. He also said that Schoenfeld may join Fotiu behind the bench. And the Pack only dressed 17 skaters for today's game. Im surprised they did not call up a forward or a dman for todays game after back to back games. I hope the D dont get too tired during the game. I think they're expecting some guys to come back from injuries after the break. Crap, the Pirates just scored. majicpixie 12-19-2004, 02:47 PM 1-1 now!! Gernander from Lawson!! :handclap: Daisy 12-19-2004, 02:49 PM 1-1 Pack!! Gernander from Lawson!! :handclap: Yay! Woohoo! :hockey: That will hopefully give the Pack a boost going into the second. Hollweg deserves an assist for the hit he threw to lead to the goal. majicpixie 12-19-2004, 04:15 PM 2-1 Portland! :p: 2-2!!! Hamilton from Moore!! :handclap: Daisy 12-19-2004, 04:20 PM Hamilton scores! :handclap: Assist goes to Moore. majicpixie 12-19-2004, 04:27 PM The AHL scoresheet has Moore with the goal and Hamilton with the assist. Balej20 12-19-2004, 04:47 PM Nycholat, Balej, Lundmark with the goals in the shoot out. No Goals from the Pirates... its all amounts to win #20 for the Pack as they close in on Manchester. NOTE: Manchester is winning 3-0 at the end of 2...so it looks like we will remain 4 back of them. majicpixie 12-19-2004, 05:00 PM Another really great win!!! :handclap: :handclap: Way to go, guys!! I still am blah about shootout wins. But whatever. A win is a win. Fletch 12-19-2004, 05:52 PM gets Jamie going...need to get one in regulation now. Glad to see Moore with another point... Balej20 12-19-2004, 06:02 PM gets Jamie going...need to get one in regulation now. Glad to see Moore with another point... If you remember, Jamie scored one in the shoot out a few games back...and that amounted to nothing interms of him picking up his play. Fletch 12-19-2004, 06:24 PM in my mind, I chalk these shootouts up to ties. They're artificial wins, and I remember few who've scored the shootout goals. Thanks for the reminder, though. I agree, i def. do not like this whole shoot out idea. A shoot out win/lose just doesnt have the same feel as a real win or lose. Im all for getting rid of it, but hey, you cant fault them for trying something new. Daisy 12-19-2004, 06:53 PM I hate to bring more bad injury news, but it appears that Ortmeyer left the game early due to some type of injury, as reported by Bob Crawford and the link below... http://hartfordwolfpackhockey.com/WolfPackNews/Packnews.htm This team definitely needs this break. Barnaby 12-19-2004, 07:19 PM gets Jamie going...need to get one in regulation now. Glad to see Moore with another point... Maybe playing with Holik will get him going... ummm, wrong season... At this rate we wont have any players left in 3 more weeks. Balej20 12-19-2004, 07:36 PM How many more years do we have Holik btw? Barnaby 12-19-2004, 07:38 PM How many more years do we have Holik btw? TOO Long. If I'm not mistaken... two seasons after this one. Onion Boy 12-19-2004, 07:52 PM TOO Long. If I'm not mistaken... two seasons after this one. Or three depending on how they treat existing contracts in the new CBA. Balej20 12-19-2004, 07:54 PM Or three depending on how they treat existing contracts in the new CBA. It better be only two. Im ready to move on from that guy/ FLYLine88 12-19-2004, 08:19 PM GOOD JOB PACK!! Racking up the Wins. BDubinskyNYR17* 12-19-2004, 08:43 PM At this rate we wont have any players left in 3 more weeks. Maybe we will make some deals or sign some prospects early. Balej20 12-19-2004, 08:49 PM Maybe we will make some deals or sign some prospects early. Yeah, that'll be good FLYLine88 12-19-2004, 09:53 PM Well hopefully this means the Injury bug will have passed us plenty of time before playoffs....or it just will get worse. :( BDubinskyNYR17* 12-19-2004, 10:14 PM Yeah, that'll be good I wanna see Nasty Nate in Hartford before the end of the season. He is another nasty dman. Maybe Sather will sign him early if these injuries to the defense continue to happen. Balej20 12-19-2004, 10:22 PM I wanna see Nasty Nate in Hartford before the end of the season. He is another nasty dman. Anyway, the way things are going, it looks like we're gonna have to pick up someone. Barnaby 12-19-2004, 10:56 PM What about that Native American guy we have? Doesn't he play a tough D? Onion Boy 12-19-2004, 11:15 PM If your talkin about Big Snake, I dont believe we signed him... I think he might be a forward anyway. I think he might be talking about Jordan Foote, who's still quite a few years away most likely. Plus he's a forward. BDubinskyNYR17* 12-20-2004, 01:51 AM I think he might be talking about Jordan Foote, who's still quite a few years away most likely. Plus he's a forward. Id like to see Baranka play in Hartford this season if possible. bmoak 12-20-2004, 08:34 AM Baranka is almost sure to come play a few games in Hartford after his junior season ends. Levitate 12-20-2004, 09:01 AM might get a game or two but it really depends on if the pack need him and if he's anywhere close to being able to handle the AHL game usually there's not much room for a rookie coming in at the end of the year as the pack is getting ready for the playoffs Balej20 12-20-2004, 11:11 AM If your talkin about Big Snake, I dont believe we signed him... I think he might be a forward anyway. lol, yes i was refering to Big Snake. I was unaware he was a forward. Just thought i'd throw that name out there since i know a few people on this board like him, and he was brought in to try out for the Pack this season. Daisy 12-23-2004, 11:32 AM The print edition of the Courant is reporting that Ryan Glenn has been returned to Charlotte (confirmed on the AHL transactions page) and that Steve McIntyre will be called up. And the update on Ortmeyer is that he sprained his knee. http://hartfordwolfpackhockey.com/WolfPackNews/Packnews.htm Happy Holidays to all! | ||
