During the pregame show, Bob Crawford said that Fotiu is running the bench because McGill's daughter is sick and he stayed in Hartford to be with his family. She's doing better now. He also said that Schoenfeld may join Fotiu behind the bench. And the Pack only dressed 17 skaters for today's game.

I agree, i def. do not like this whole shoot out idea. A shoot out win/lose just doesnt have the same feel as a real win or lose. Im all for getting rid of it, but hey, you cant fault them for trying something new.

Id like to see Baranka play in Hartford this season if possible.

Baranka is almost sure to come play a few games in Hartford after his junior season ends.

might get a game or two but it really depends on if the pack need him and if he's anywhere close to being able to handle the AHL game

usually there's not much room for a rookie coming in at the end of the year as the pack is getting ready for the playoffs

lol, yes i was refering to Big Snake. I was unaware he was a forward. Just thought i'd throw that name out there since i know a few people on this board like him, and he was brought in to try out for the Pack this season.

The print edition of the Courant is reporting that Ryan Glenn has been returned to Charlotte (confirmed on the AHL transactions page) and that Steve McIntyre will be called up. And the update on Ortmeyer is that he sprained his knee.
