Posted by the Alberni Valley Bulldogs today:

Port Alberni, BC- Alberni Valley Bulldogs' twenty year old D-man Rob Woods has signed a roaming affiliate card with the Western Hockey League Spokane Chiefs this morning. The Chiefs lost a twenty year old D-man to an injury; as a result, the Chiefs have called up Woods to fill that position.
Rob's BCHL rights will still belong to the Alberni Valley Bulldogs for the remainder of the 2004-05 season. The entire Bulldogs organization wishes Rob the best of luck in the WHL.

This is a big loss for the Bulldogs. Woodsy was a big presence out there, an assistant captain with the team and now I wonder who will replace him?
Good luck in Spokane Rob, hope we get you back for the playoffs.

Nice to hear that Woodsy is goin back to the Dub...

He could've been a really good player, but got caught with injuries early on w/Saskatoon. I was hoping he'd join the Cougars after thte Blade released him, but to no avail
