DynamoAO 11-01-2004, 11:05 PM Drew Brees.
HankyFourFingers 11-01-2004, 11:11 PM Brees or Alexander
monster_bertuzzi 11-01-2004, 11:55 PM Alexander. He single handedly beat Carolina with his 200 yards of rushing and 2 TD's.
Anthony 11-02-2004, 12:03 AM big ben
Anthony 11-02-2004, 12:04 AM nobody single handedly beats anyone in the nfl
Fish on The Sand 11-02-2004, 01:08 AM nobody single handedly beats anyone in the nfl
You've obviously never seen Ryan Leaf play. That said I vote Holmes with the homer vote.
spank303 11-02-2004, 02:11 AM Ben Roethlisberger
Safir* 11-02-2004, 03:08 AM Brees. Any given back up RB can score 150-200 on the Panthers nowadays.
Legionnaire 11-02-2004, 03:19 AM Barber.
Liquidrage* 11-02-2004, 03:49 AM Vick should have been on there.
First player in history to pass for 250 and run for 100 in the same game.
Evilo 11-02-2004, 03:54 AM I voted Brees.
But you have to like Big Ben's play against NE.
Weezel RX7 11-02-2004, 08:02 AM Vick should have been on there.

screw vick
ObeySteve 11-02-2004, 08:05 AM This should be no contest. Perfect QB Rating for Brees.
tripledekehockey 11-02-2004, 10:49 AM brees
Liquidrage* 11-02-2004, 05:01 PM screw vick
That's not up to me.
I guess if you have a thing for young black males and Vick finds you attractive you have a shot though.
Seriously, Plummer's on there, and there isn't a single person that watched the game and has any common sense that would say Plummer was the better QB yesterday or had the better day at QB.

Hey, I figured near 500 passing yds. & 4 scores were enough to get on there. calm down.
chris_dub 11-07-2004, 01:48 AM Gotta give it to Big Ben. Had a hell out an outing for a rook vs. the Pat's D.
Fish on The Sand 11-07-2004, 02:40 AM wow, i was the only vote for Holmes? 3 tds and 150 yards just doesn't cut it I guess. Funny, Roethsbringer gets all the votes for an average performance but just because the pats decided to play crappy the guy is hailed as a hero. what a joke. This should have been a 3 way race between Manning, Holmes and Alexander. End of story right there.

End of the story?
Puh-lease, check Drew Brees' stats.
He should win this one EASILY.
After that, Big Ben should deserve mention. He's a rookie and he had a huge first quarter, that basically decided the whole game, against one of the best teams ever, unbeaten this year.
Ask yourself the following : which happens the most often?
A rookie dominating an unbeaten, historical team or a top RB getting 150 yards and 3 TD?

Brees has a PERFECT QUARTERBACK RATING. What do you not understand?

Bress doesn't wear a Chiefs jersey :dunno:

When a guy completes 22 of his 25 passes and throws 5tds for a 158.3 QB rating hes going to get my vote for that week. Brees put on a great performance and it should really be a 1 man race. Big Ben shouldnt be getting this many votes, I'll agree with you on that point. The Steeler who should have been on here was Joey Porter who dominated the Pats o-line.
lux_interior 11-07-2004, 10:33 AM Big Ben. What he did against one of the best in NFL history (as a rookie) earns him a close nod over Brees.
