I'm thinking about heading up to Montreal in a few weeks for a vacation. I live outside Philadelphia and am a big hockey fan, so when I'm there, I would like to catch a QMJHL game. Any suggestions. I know Montreal has a team, so is it hard to get tickets? Can I get them the day of the game? Any pointers on where to go in Montreal? Are there other junior teams close to Montreal? It will be my first time there.

Actually, Montreal doesn't have a team anymore. It was too easy to get tickets, so the team moved to Prince Edward Island (they were averaging about 1000 fans in the Bell Centre).
As far as I remember, the nearest rink is Drummondville, about an hour northeast of Montreal, and you shouldn't have any problems getting tickets there.
Although, I think there are a few semi-pro teams in the Montreal area (Verdun, Laval), and there are probably some midget teams as well.

Oh man, I remember the team Montreal Rocket, or something like that. I had no idea they moved. I should have known this, even though I mostly follow the OHL. Thanks
