Chris Durand

Back from his injury last week and in his 4th game back finally got on the scoresheet. In a big way too, netting a hat trick over the Cougs last night. He's going to have a breakout year, imo.

He's playing well. The whole team is.

Durand with 2 assists as the T-Birds crush the Giants 5-0.

What type of player is he? Physical? All finesse?

I've read hes a bit like a bigger, slightly less skilled and less physical version of Brule. Possible top-10 pick.

I was at the game last night, and he was unbelievably talented. Probably up there top 5 talent wise. The only thing(s) that seperate himself and Brule are that Brule will A) throw his weight around, and B) is MUCH feistier.

Durand seemed like an amazing playmaking type that made 2 BEAUTIFUL 2 on 1 feeds to Tyler Metcalfe that rendered Schwarz absolutely useless. They practically bounced off Metcalfe's stick and in. I will defenitely say from what I saw last night that he is a potential top 10 pick, although it is still very early.

I was also extremely impressed with Gagnon, and Seattles defense, which was VERY stellar.
