Need help identifying this hit (calling Prince George Cougars fans)

I can tell from the logo at centre ice that this happened in PG. Anyone know who the two players involved were? (And whether the guy who got hit was OK?)

I have *never* seen anyone get destroyed as badly as this. :eek:

I think that was someone on Quinn Hancock a few years back. I remember because Cherry showed it on Coach's Corner and said it was one of the biggest hits ever and so on. Can't remember who hit him though.

I think it was Cory Sarich that threw the hit.

I was at that game. I will never forget that hit, and moreso how Quinn Hancock got up and scored 2 goals after taking the brutal hit from Cory Sarich.

Damn, I'm amazed he'd even be able to skate after that hit, let alone score 2 goals. :eek:

There are a few NHL refs I remember seeing in the W. Mike Hasenfratz immediately comes to mind, only cause I and everyone in the arena kept screaming his name at least 5 times a game.
