I was told never to buy NHL 2005 cause it has no create-a-player option

Apparently the ESPN version is much much better

Speaking of, could those who've bought NHL 2005(EA) list the Ducks roster and their ratings, and those who've bought NHL 2K5(ESPN) list the Ducks roster and their ratings? Would definetely factor in which game I buy.

The ratings on NHL2k5 don't matter because you can edit a player from his ratings to the equipment he uses.

Agreed. I just put everyone on their current teams and added the top 5 prospects on each team to the game as well. ESPN is much better in this capacity
