I cant believe that Lacrosse is Canada's national sport!
stv11 09-21-2004, 07:53 AM 1 - 4/5
2 - 15/25 (but question 21 seems wrong, I'm pretty sure the Ducks' inaugural season was 93-94)

I'm 25, so I don't remember a lot about King Clancy and the like. ;)
However, I must admit that the time when I discovered the Internet and spent hours reading hockey-related pages helped me quite a lot !

The Anaheim answer is wrong, it should be 1993/94
On the curved stick, it is generally credited to both Mikita and Bobby Hull although Andy Bathgate also claims he was the originator.
The wording of the Rangers Cup question was confusing. I did know their previous cup win was in 1940 but got it wrong.
Good quiz though.
Edit: 6/10 on the third one.

I cant believe that Lacrosse is Canada's national sport!
Canada actually has two official national sports---one Summer and one Winter.
I'll let you figure out which is which! :)

Some of the questions in the last one were insane.
I got 5/5 in the first one, but I don't have time to do the other two yet. I feel vindicated that I wasted all of my homework time reading up on so-called 'useless' hockey trivia :)
hockeytown9321 09-21-2004, 05:44 PM I cant believe that Lacrosse is Canada's national sport!
Yeah, that one can lead to a good barfight.

Hab-a-maniac 09-22-2004, 08:37 PM I got 5/5 on the first one and essentially 24/25 on the second. The third one was 8/10 for me. I'm that damn good. The 2nd trivia gave me 20 but they screwed up. They marked it incorrect when I said 2000th point rather than 2,000 or 2000!!! And the Ducks starting in 92-93 is false as well, they started the next year and it wasn't even on the options!!! Plus I spelled Marcel Dionne's first name with two L's. Big deal! And one other I forget. The only one I really got wrong was Vanbiesbrouck being 2nd to 300 wins. I thought it was Richter.

jiggs 10 09-24-2004, 04:26 PM 5 of 5 in the first.
22 of 25 in the second.
Of course, I gave myself credit for the one they got wrong. No need to spell out a word when the number is what they are looking for.
Guessed right on a couple, though, I have to admit.
4 of 10 on the 3rd. That was pretty hard!
loadie 09-25-2004, 03:10 AM I got 5/5 on the short one..I'm a lucky geek I guess. :D Think I'll try the second one too.
loadie 09-25-2004, 03:20 AM 17/25 for the second one, not too bad, but I was surprised by some of the answers thats for sure. Good questions.
