Who had the best outing in Week 1?
NFL Week 1 Top Performerchris_dub 09-13-2004, 10:17 PM Who had the best outing in Week 1? Steadfast 09-13-2004, 10:18 PM Gotta go with Daunte. Although his TD celebration gets a big thumbs down. :thumbd: Fish on The Sand 09-13-2004, 10:25 PM Bettis easily. You can't duplicate that stat line, it takes something special to accomplish what he did. Leopold Stotch 09-13-2004, 10:33 PM I voted Culpepper. Very good performance against the Cowboys for him. Though, I really liked Quentin Griffin and his performance against KC. Portis did well in his Skins debut, but not only did Champ Bailey with a very god Broncos debut make Mike Shannahan look good on the trade, Griffin made Shannahan look like a genius. I really believe he's gonna make the people in Denver say "Clinton who?", and he's going to be a very good running back. Big McLargehuge 09-13-2004, 10:37 PM BETTIS! lol...5 carries for 1 yard and 3 TDs...classic. The guy is a shoe-in for the Hall-of-Fame and should move into the top 5 in all-time rushing stats before the end of the season and this is only the second time he's ever scored 3 TDs in his career, the last time coming in 1997, his second season as a Steeler. The guy is on pace to run for 16 yards with 48 TDs :lol Midnight Meat Train 09-13-2004, 10:44 PM Curtis Martin ChubarovRocks 09-14-2004, 12:30 AM Gotta go with Culpepper. Cerebral 09-14-2004, 01:04 AM I'll take Griffin... what a shocker, another amazing half back out of Denver! :) LiquidClown 09-14-2004, 01:18 AM As a fins fan I'd have to say Fiedler...he managed to work himself out of the starting job.....which is something Dolphin fans have been wanting the last 2 or 3 years....and he did it in one game... Thanks Jay! JLand 09-14-2004, 05:23 AM Daunte hands down. I would have picked McNabb, but he got to abuse the worst secondary in the league :banghead: The G Man 09-14-2004, 05:36 AM Quentin Griffin. All the other guys have "been there, done that". His first ever turn as the man in Denver and he comes up HUUUUUUUUUUGE. JCD 09-14-2004, 06:17 AM All due respect to everyone else, but 5-TDs against what is supposed to be a 'good' defense is a tough number to get past. tripledekehockey 09-14-2004, 06:25 AM mcnabb -- got me a "W" in my fantasy league High flyin' Habs* 09-14-2004, 06:31 AM Im surprised Brady got so little votes, after all he threw for more yards than anyone else. Cuiffitelli 09-14-2004, 07:49 AM I voted for D Mac but what about Brian Westbrook? RUSHING: 17 CAR YDS: 119 AVG: 7.0 REC: 3 YDS: 42 AVG: 14.0 Tuggy 09-14-2004, 11:49 AM There was a lot of good weeks but Dante's 5 touchdown/dominate performance trumphs them all. | ||
