Amerks shuffling ownership group

Man that would stink to see the Amerks go. They are a "classic" AHL franchise. Hopefully this is just a scare tactic by the owners to get a better deal come 2006.

I'm looking to the AHL for stability. I don't need this crap right now. If the Amerks fold, what does Buffalo use as a farm team?

It's not like Buffalo owns the team.

It has nothing to do with Buffalo. Rochester gets ZERO in concessions.

so let me get this right Buffalo has no interest in their AHL franchise whatsoever and Rochester gets no money from Buffalo with all their future talent down in the minors at all? call me skeptical but I believe every NHL franchise HELPS out their AHL franchise if its in financial trouble...but that's just me...I could be wrong though

They get a certain amount for veteran signings I believe.
