I think it was the 8th inning when the slowest player in the entire league (Kirk) hit a comebacker off of Blanco's glove, but the Astros still made the play with time to spare.......the Jays announcers even pointed out that if any other Blue Jay had been running to first they might've had their first hit of the night.

Oh well. :laugh:

I think by then I was pulling for Blanco anyway, glad he got his moment in history! Dude was only two walks shy of a perfect game I think. Just dominated out there; the Jays brought nothing to the table, wasting Bowden Francis's debut in the process.
