California's redwood forests fighting climate change

A new study out of Humboldt State University finds that redwood forests store more carbon per acre than any other forests on the planet, even tropical rainforests.

Yep. Good for headlines and maybe the immediate area, but that's about it. This will do virtually nothing on a global scale.
