Wondering what the best player available is for this package:

Timothy Liljegren (25 y/o, RFA) (3G+20A=23P in 55 games, 19:40 TOI)
  • #4 Defenseman. I don't see him flourishing into anything more but possible with the right coach. Decent defensively, good in transition, decent offensively.
Nicholas Robertson (22 y/o, RFA) (14G+13A=27P in 56 games, 11:23 TOI)
  • Top 9 LW, with the potential to crack top 6 one day. Shoot first mentality, paced for 20 goals in 11 minutes of ice time. 13 of his 14 goals were scored at even strength.
2024 1st Round Pick

Ideally looking for a defensively responsible RHD.

So who's available? Who could be had if more is added?

I would be interested in the draft pick, but I have zero interest in Robertson and very little interest in Liljegren either.

So no offer at all.

I mean, I don't really see that package returning a worthwhile upgrade quite frankly. It doesn't come close to returning a legit Top pairing RD(Arguably the most valuable position in all of hockey quite frankly), so at that point I don't see why you'd move from Liljegren if he's a fine 2nd pairing RD in his own right.

Leafs should hold on to Robertson. as for Liljegren... i don't think he's a #4 on most teams

Timmy had the worst shot share of any defenseman on the team and no good in the playoffs. Not sure what kind of position you can put him in to succeed. Doesn't put up a lot of points and he's not good defensively. He's a 6/7.

Robertson is a often injured undersized offensive guy most teams have.

Not sure anyone one would want both eating up contracts.

Sounds like the price for a 50 point forwad at the TDL.
