First Fubu and now Pred303. !@#$! you cancer
let's say the media isn't jerking us around and we will have training camps soon. What would you like to see for a 30 man training camp roster?
Guaranteed:
F: Fisher, Legwand, SK, Erat, Wilson, Smith, Hornqvist, Bourque, Halischuk, Spaling, Gaustad, McGrattan
D: Weber, Klein, Josi, Hannan, Gill, Ellis, Blum
G: Rinne, Mason
There's 20 right there. 10 more spots. Not sure on who can leave their teams at this point, but assuming everyone is available, I would like....
Watson, Beck, Latta, Cehlin, Budish, Shalla, Ekholm, Bittetto, Javinen, J. Smith
Added 1 but looks about right.
We aren't gonna even have 30 in camp. I can't imagine that anyone not absolutely a lock will be called up from the AHL this far into the season. Might see a couple of unsigned ufa's on tryouts but I'd be shocked if there were more than 25 at camp. Camp will be so short there won't be much "tryout" time it will mostly be "get the roster familiar with each other" time. And I think since the preds won't really have any "new" players they will have a distinct advantage over teams who will have 4 or 5 new faces to integrate.
Hannan, but the point remains
How did I forget Ernie? Oh, and Yip, but I know how I forgot him
I think it will be a 25 man roster
SK-Fisher-Erat
Wilson-Legwand-Smith
Halischuk-Gaustad-Hornqvist
Bourque-Spaling-Yip
McG-Mueller-Watson
Latta-Cehlin-Beck
Weber-Josi
Klein-Hannan
Gill-Ellis
Blum-Ekholm
Bartley-Moore
Rinne
Mason
Smith and Hellburg are not ready for prime time. Ekholm is stepping up, Watson is leading the Ads but Latta might be due, if Bourque slacks in camp opens a spot for a forward. i could see an interesting cycle if there is increased pressure with 1/2 a season. Blum-Ekholm-Bartley-Moore, and Bourque-Watson-Cehlin-Mueller-Beck
