Game 3 of the Montreal-Boston semifinals series, Montreal leads 1-0 at the end of one period. The desperate visitors have been working hard since the opening puck drop in Lowell, and their efforts were rewarded when Mikyla Grant-Mentis behind the net found captain Marie-Philip Poulin unmarked in the slot & beat the off-balance BOS goalie Aerin Frankel to take the early lead.

End of two, still 0-0. Toronto stepped up their offensive play, but they coud not convert on a couple of 5-on-4 advantages. On the MIN side, Taylor Heise displayed her remarkable stickhandling but nothing to show for it.
