I finally bit the bullet and replaced my Easton Makos after nearly 6 years of year-round use. I replaced them with CCM FT2 Jetspeed skates, the issues are partially fixed. I had them baked twice, once again after getting the sides "punched out" out my local hockey store. There are still a few areas that could be punched out, but they are much improved. They need some additional punching out on the rear heels to be perfect.
I miss my Easton Mako forward pitch, anyone know the blade profile they would have?
Cheers,
