Kind of poetic if the last run of the Sid, Geno, Letang era is ruined by bad goaltending after a regular season of great goaltending.

Sadly, both goalies have only been providing .9 SV% level goaltending recently. This team was going nowhere at the start of the season, fooled us for 2 months, then is back where they started the season. This is a team that needs >.92% goaltending to win and that is a tall ask. Jarry's injury will be the season scape goat though, and prevent PIT from doing what is necessary to rebuild.

Well that sucks. Maybe he is back for the playoffs or DeSmith goes ape shit and stops everything. Or so much for the year.

On the plus side, DeSmith has let in 0 goals against NYR this year.
