Ironically noone ever learns. Right now Drai is the obvious better player. A year ago he wasn't. And in another year we could flip flop again. That's hockey folks!

I take Drai over EP anyway of the week and twice on Sunday.

Why youask? Playoff performance, simple!

Drai is a PO beast, with and without McJesus.

Man hindsight has not been kind to many posts in this thread. To the initial premise of "who says no" fine - neither team really had any reason to do it, but to everyone saying how much better EP is than Drai is clearly motivated by something other than impartial hockey knowledge.

The argument that Drai wouldn't be as good without McDavid has been proven to be incorrect so many times that it is baffling that people on this forum (generally enthusiastic hockey fans) still continue to try to promote this narrative.

Pettersson is a RFA so you have more control over it. Drai could walk on you as a UFA.

Canucks say no.
