He's good defensively - a total hound - and on the PK.

His offensive game has not clicked and his puck handling seems to be declining.

The Capitals are still searching for his rightful spot. IMO it ought to be 4th line in a shutdown capacity and spot duty on other lines when the Caps have the lead.

If he could pick corners for shit he’d be having a great start because he’s getting chances but every shot is a center mass fart. Hopefully they’ll even out. Playing good D though.

Been one of the worst players on the team so far this regular season. Still early, so there's plenty of time to turn it around. But he looks like a 4th line/energy guy/PK filler. Definitely not worth his contract.
